Empire Style, Designed by the eminent Architect, Charles Percier, Architect of the Emperor'Napoleon 1er, Termed : " Celestial " was first made by Biennais, Napoleon Goldsmith & Silversmith, for the Empress Josephine in 1804.

The gracefulness of the form, the pattern is of rare excellence, decorated with a charming Putto, ornamented with swans, horns of plenty and bay leaves motives, symbols of prosperity & seduction, the fine chasing on a matted ground made indeed this pattern " Celestial ". Guilde des orfèvres selected in 1996 exquisite patterns from 120 hidden treasure of refined Parisian elegance, to be introduced to the US market.

Souche Lapparra is a prestigious Parisian firm, founded by Albert Souche, Maître orfèvre in 1896 when Paris was the center of Silversmithing Excellence.
