For sale are four-piece regular size place settings with old patent marks on the flat pieces in the popular FRANCIS I pattern by Reed & Barton, introduced in 1906. The settings consist of a 9 1/8 inch place knife with a French-style stainless steel blade, a 7 1/8 inch place fork, a 6 1/8 inch salad fork and a 5 7/8 inch teaspoon. The three flat pieces weigh about 131 grams.

The settings have never been monogrammed. The knives are marked "REED & BARTON / MIRRORSTELE" on the blades and "STERLING HANDLE" on the handle edges. The fork and teaspoon and also stamped "H", and the patent mark on the salad forks is faint on a few. Condition on the settings is quite good. There are a few knife marks on some of the fork tines, but otherwise just normal signs of use. The handle patterns have the crispness of the old mark pieces. Some good old mark settings in a great pattern!
