FOR SALE FINE QUALITY WONDERFUL. Scandinavian / American Colonial Era coin / sterling silver SNUFF BOX. Fully marked with makers mark. Initials & date at the base.

Made in Kopenhagen circa 1776 by Ambrosias Jorgensen. Pproved as silversmith 14 / 12 / 1761, died in 1793. Design is typical for 18th century very popular Louis XV style with bird finial. Size: 2 3/4" high, 1 1/2" x 1.

Came from NEW ORLEANS estate sale In early 1990's. The snuff box features a very beautiful form. Box is in very good condition considering age.
