The coolers are raised on a domed octagonal base chased with the same delightful motifs. Double scroll side handles are movable. While we have been unable to identify the origin of these pieces, each piece is clearly marked with the 19th century French silver' Swan' control mark (larger than the 20th century'Swan' control mark). 950 silver purity marks, and a European assayers' Zigzag / Proofstrike' mark. Professionally cleaned by our Parisian silversmith, condition is excellent with only light signs of use to note.
