STERLING SILVER &BLACK PORCELAIN SILVERWARE BY HANSEN & GUMP. It was designed to match Variation a set by Tapio Wirkkala. The set consists of 47 pieces: 6 butter knives (7 1/4" long), 6 dinner knives (8" long), 6 dinner forks (7 1/2" long), 6 salad forks (6 3/4" long), 6 soup spoons (7 3/4" long), 11 teaspoons (7" long), and 6 demitasse spoons (4 3/4). The total weight is 1852 grams / 65.33 oz. This weight does not include the butter knives and dinner knives which have Stainless Steel blades.

One demitasse spoon is missing its end cap. No condition issues were observed on the porcelain handles. There are some surface scratches on the silver commensurate with age and use. The pieces are hallmarked Rosenthal, with the German Crescent and Crown, 925.
