Set of Francis I pattern sterling silver flatware by noted American silversmith Reed & Barton. We do not need to tell you about the pattern; if you're looking at our listing, you already know just how desirable it is.

This preloved set comes to us out of a prominent local estate and. Includes everything one needs to entertain for eight!

It includes a mix of old and new marks (predominantly pre-1950), as the original set was added to over the years. Some of the pieces are incredibly scarce and almost impossible to find, as they were discontinued by Reed and Barton long ago. This set includes the following.

8x 4-piece place setting 32 pcs. Total , each set including a dinner knife (9 5/8 inches), dinner fork (7 7/8"; old marks), salad fork (6"), and teaspoon (6 5/8). 8x Butter knives 6 1/4.

, with stainless blades marked'Mirrorstele. 8x Soup spoons - 4x short-handled soup spoons 5 7/8. , and 4x long-handled gumbo spoons 7 1/4. 8x Beverage spoons 7 5/8.

Meat fork (9 3/8", 4.8 oz), table/serving spoon (8 1/4", 2.9 oz), pierced table/serving spoon (8 1/4"), sugar spoon (6 1/4"), butter knife (7"), and pie knife (10 1/8"). Carving set , including large carving knife that appears to never have been used - in true mint condition - and accompanying fork. Youth set , including youth dinner fork (5 7/8 inches), youth place spoon (5 3/8 inches), and youth dinner knife (7 3/4 inches). 1x Tomato spoon (8 1/8, 2.9 oz). 1x Gravy ladle (6 1/2 inches). 1x Mustard spoon (5 inches).

1x Olive fork (5 7/8 inches). Everything is in excellent condition. Aside from varied light tarnishing as shown, the only condition issue we can find is in the very tip of the lip of the youth spoon, which has a barely noticeable ding in the tip of the lip, something which any competent jeweler should be able to straighten out with minimal effort.
